Welcome to the Arizona Green Party (AZGP) website! Founded in May of 1990, our party is currently the 5th largest in the State of Arizona by voter registrations. As of the present day, AZGP has achieved statewide party recognition and ballot status a total of 8 times in our party's history: 1992, 2000, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2016 & 2018, and we have recently once again qualified for the upcoming 2024 & 2026 elections.
We have more than 2,000 registered Greens statewide, and there are organized local chapters currently active in Maricopa, Pima, and Coconino Counties. For the 2024 election, the Pima and Coconino County chapters have also qualified for county-level political party recognition and ballot status.
The Four Pillars of the Green Party are:
